The Centre is a large house located on three acres of wooded land in rural Bath Township. It is near Lansing, East Lansing, Haslett and Okemos, three quarter hour from Jackson, about an hour from Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids, one and a half hours from Detroit and four hours from Chicago. There are 4 guest bedrooms with two single beds each, and a Suite (with attached bathroom with bathtub) which has three single beds in it. We have a screened porch that can be bedrooms as needed. The Centre can accommodate up to twelve (12) guests. There are three shared bathrooms with shower or tub/shower, in addition to the one in the Suite. See pictures of rooms.

The lower level is handicap accessible, including the entrance, Meditation room, two of the bedrooms (we would remove one of the two beds in the room) and a bathroom with a roll-in shower. There is not currently a means to bring wheelchairs upstairs to the Living/Dining room, so meals would be brought on a tray to the lower level.

Meals are delicious vegetarian, complete and balanced, and tailored to the needs of the course being held or for the type of retreat. Breakfast is an assortment of cereals, fruit, bread, yogurt, milk and juice which you may help yourself to, and is included in the room charge. Dinner includes dessert. On Sundays the lunch and dinner are usually lighter, but satisfying.
** We need to inform you that:
Our delicious homecooked meals are prepared with Love in our family kitchen, which is not regulated and inspected by the Clinton County Health department. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.

More about the Centre

The Living/Dining area is available for you to read and relax, and has a tea kettle, teas, mugs, glasses and water out at all times for you to help yourself. A selection of spiritual books is there for you to read while you are here and leave for others to enjoy. Birdfeeders are nearby. There is a three-season room which is a comfortable sitting area much of the year. The Meditation room is available for silent prayer and meditation: everyone of all faiths, meditation practices and traditions is welcome.

Our Cat
Maggie the catWe have a delightful cat, Maggie, who enjoys playing in the garden and lounging on the front porch. She has a cat door to the non-guest area of the Centre and does not spend any time in the indoor guest areas, so everyone with allergies may stay in comfort. We just ask your help ~ please don't let her follow you in.

Outdoor features
There is a pond with fountain, fish and frogs in the front yard. Overlooking this is a front porch with swing chair. There are lounge chairs available for you to use on the porch or the lawn. The property to the east is a 25 acre Township Park with rustic walking trails, and the property to the north is undeveloped. Within a half-mile walk is a 4,000 acre State Wildlife Research area with rustic walking trails. The Michigan Wildlife Conservancy Conference center (The Bengel Center) is a mile down the road, and is also a pleasant place to walk.
