About
the Centre
The Centre is run by a group of professional Healers and Progressive
Counsellors who are committed to the highest ideal of unconditional
love in all they do. Their aim is to give support to those struggling
or suffering in life on any level, and to assist those who seek inner
knowledge and personal growth in the pursuit of peace, health and
happiness.
Pure
Meditation is
a central part of the life of the Centre and
training is offered to a deep level under the guidance of Mata
Yogananda Mahasaya Dharma. The Centres worldwide offer Diploma courses
in
Natural
Spiritual Healing, Progressive Counselling and Transformation
Hatha Yoga Teacher
Training for those wishing to take these skills into their lives or

501(c)(3) nonprofit,
EIN 81-0619741 - effective July 2003.
We welcome donations of money or usable goods, which
are generally tax deductible -

Seva Days - days of service to the Centre
- are scheduled
during the year.
We are always in need of
volunteers to share in the joy of being of service and
giving back to life, helping with the work of
the
Centre. Any amount of time is of value, and we can provide
accommodation and delicious vegetarian meals for longer stays.

Daily Pure Meditation times and open hours
The Centre is open daily for quiet reflection, silent prayer and
Pure Meditation, everyone of all faiths, meditation practices and traditions is welcome. The
morning Pure Meditation time varies slightly during our special silent retreats
and weekend courses. Please feel free to call to double check.
Generally, the hours are:
Monday through Saturday starting at 6:45 am and 8:45 pm.
Sunday and during Retreats starting at 7:45 am and 7:45 pm.
Winged
Prayer is said daily during the evening Pure Meditation
at 9 pm.
Please feel to come and go as you wish during these times.
The Centre is open for visits most days from morning Pure Meditation
until after the Winged Prayer; please call ahead to check
availability.
Amenities of the Centre
The Centre offers a
Meditation
room, delicious home-cooked vegetarian food, quiet
sitting
areas including a porch overlooking the pond and a three season porch,
with comfortable accommodation. See

and Features of the Centre. The Centre's daily schedule
includes
morning Pure Meditation, Quiet Time mid-day, Preparation For Meditation
exercises before evening Pure Meditation and
Winged
Prayer at 9pm. All are welcome to join us. There is a wooded
park with rustic walking trails adjacent to the Centre.
Our Reception, Meditation room,
lower level bedrooms and bathroom/shower are wheelchair accessible.
The Centre is located 10 miles north-east of Lansing, near to East
Lansing,
Haslett and Okemos, three-quarter hour from Jackson, about an hour from
Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids, one and a half hours from Detroit and
four hours from Chicago. It is in a wooded, rural area, but is easily
reached from I-69.
